Anchoring the north end of Santa Monica's Third Street Promenade, this two-story building was reconstructed in 1998 by CIM and became Banana Republic's flagship store in Santa Monica. The building was originally constructed in the 1940s as a J.C. Penney store in a "streamline moderne" Art Deco style.
CIM sold 1202 Third Street in 2001.
