When CIM acquired 655 Hope Street, a 17-story office building located at the corner of 7th and Hope Streets in the financial district of downtown Los Angeles, the building was underperforming. Its upper floor office space was only 26% occupied, and its 6,300 square feet of retail space was vacant.
CIM sold Metro Center in 2006.
