Press Releases

HOLLYWOOD—September 19, 2006—Napoleon Perdis, Australia's leading makeup artist and the CEO and Founder of Napoleon Perdis Cosmetics, will expand his global beauty empire this November with the unveiling of a luxurious concept store on Hollywood Boulevard, marking one of the brand's first in the U.S.  CIM Group has leased a 4,000-square-foot space at 6611 Hollywood Boulevard, just east of Cherokee, which will serve as the brand's flagship store on the West Coast, housing both a retail boutique and a makeup academy.  The Napoleon Perdis Makeup Academy will launch in late-November 2006 as a training facility for both professional makeup artists and everyday women, followed by the retail boutique's opening in mid-January 2007.

"Hollywood remains the glamour capital of the world - it is the ideal location for our boutique," said Napoleon Perdis.  "As far as design, think Dorothy Draper meets old world Hollywood.   As far as service, think decadent luxury, the ultimate beck and call with your makeup artist.  My brand is trans-generational, trans-Pacific and trans-Atlantic. I look forward to working individually with each of our customers in our stores."

The Napoleon Perdis Cosmetics store will be the latest in a series of specialty retail, restaurants and clubs that CIM Group has brought to this area of Hollywood Boulevard.  Napoleon Perdis Cosmetics joins the acclaimed Geisha House restaurant and Mood, one of Los Angeles' top nightspots, that have made the intersection of Hollywood and Cherokee one of the coolest hot spots on the Boulevard.

"We continually look for creative, one-of-a-kind retailers and restaurateurs as these are key to maintaining an eclectic Hollywood," noted Shaul Kuba, principal, CIM Group.  "People are drawn to the area because it offers such a variety of experiences.  This luxurious cosmetics boutique will be a popular and distinctive destination for residents and visitors."

Boasting decadent boudoirs, a clean color palette and chic design thematic, the Napoleon Perdis Cosmetics boutique will serve as an ultimate beauty destination where women can experiment and play with best sellers such as Lip Lacquer, Long Black Mascara and Auto Pilot Pre-Foundation Skin Primer, among others. In an elegant and warm environment that embodies old world glamour merged with modern femininity, Napoleon Perdis Cosmetics will encourage women to discover their inner celebrities as Napoleon Perdis makeup artists guide them through the brand's full color line and skin care collection.

Napoleon Perdis Cosmetics currently has 52 stand-alone concept stores and over 600 point-of-sale locations across Australia and New Zealand. The brand is also sold exclusively at 16 Saks Fifth Avenue stores in the United States and at 50 The Bay stores in Canada.

Napoleon Perdis launched his collection in the U.S. in Spring 2005 promptly gaining a celebrity clientele that includes Teri Hatcher, Nicollette Sheridan. Amanda Bynes, Vanessa Minnillo, Melissa George, Giuliana Depandi, Evangeline Lilly, Paula Abdul, LeAnn Rimes, Jaime-Lynn Sigler, Rose McGowan, and Raven Simone, among others.

Napoleon Perdis' trans-generational approach to beauty has driven the brand into a category all its own.  Napoleon Perdis Cosmetics provides pro-tips on all packaging of products, further driving home the brand value "The Oxford of Makeup." Additional key brand values include  "Bring out the Celebrity in You," "Runway to Reality," "Treasure Chest" and "Australia's Leading Makeup Artist."

The Napoleon Perdis philosophy is not dictated by fashion, it's about celebrating and empowering a woman's natural beauty. The butterfly, the collection's emblem, symbolizes something of great value to Napoleon Perdis:  the choice of color and the freedom to discover oneself through experimentation.  For additional information visit
