First Tenant Announced at the Remodeled 159 4th Avenue Building

NASHVILLE – March 28, 2017 – CIM Group today announced that Serendipity Labs Coworking has signed a lease to be the first tenant in the remodeled 159 4th Avenue North building of the L & C Tower complex, and will occupy approximately 15,000 square feet including a portion of the first floor and the entire second floor of the nine-story building.  Serendipity Labs is a members-only, upscale workplace provider that includes full-time and part-time coworking, dedicated private offices, and team rooms for established professionals.  Serendipity Labs’ Nashville location will open this summer. 

Since acquiring the L & C complex in September 2015, CIM has undertaken a comprehensive renovation program at both the iconic L & C Tower office building located at 401 Church Street and at 159 4th Avenue North. 

New tenant amenities and upgrades to the 272,000-square-foot, 30-story L & C Tower’s exterior and lobby are near completion.  A new building entrance canopy designed as a glass box provides height and light as well as an enhanced identity at the street.  To activate the pedestrian experience, CIM is updating the streetscape program with decorative planters and expanded the pedestrian walkway with terrazzo paving around the building’s perimeter on 4th and Church Streets, placing new shade trees closer to the street.

At 159 4th Avenue North, renovations are in progress for the lobby remodel, elevator cab upgrades, common area upgrades including restrooms, covered bike storage, a tenant amenity gym, and exterior streetscape improvements including outdoor seating for a new coffee shop, Dunn Brothers Coffee.

Modernized office suites at L & C Tower and at 159 Fourth Avenue North are currently available.
