Working within the corporate accounting group, this position will focus on the creation, implementation & management of the corporate expense allocations and will work closely with accounting, finance, operations, internal audit, legal and compliance to improve the allocations process.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Analyze raw data from the task tracking system and build macros in order to create reports.
  • Review corporate expenses to determine whether they are allocable in accordance with the expense allocation policy/matrix.
  • Manage reconciliations and billing for all corporate reimbursements.
  • Responsible for the compilation of data and preparation of reports related to expense allocations.
  • Central point of contact for all corporate expense allocation inquiries.
  • Ability to document procedures.
  • NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Ad hoc reporting & analysis upon request
  • Additional duties as assigned
  • EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelors’ degree in Economics, Finance, or Accounting
  • Minimum 1-3 years’ previous experience in a finance, economics or analytics role.  
  • TECHNICAL SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Advanced level Excel skills
  • Knowledge of writing Macros is strongly preferred.
  • Preferred familiarity with Yardi & Nexus Payables
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Understanding of general ledger reports and systems
  • Operate standard office equipment
