Manage marketing efforts that support the center’s business objectives and provide the platform for tenants to be successful. Direct the development and implementation of marketing, community relations and public relations programs that position assigned property to local consumers and industry professionals. In addition, direct sales efforts for revenue generating events; provide management and oversight of event logistics, budget, reporting, negotiation, and contract preparation.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Conduct outreach to prospective clients and manage the sales process from initial inquiry to final execution; Field incoming event sales to maximize revenue and placements at the CenterDirect on site logistics for revenue generating and Center-produced events including supervision of security, janitorial, engineering and vendors relative to event needsConduct meetings and walk-throughs with clients, vendors, partners, and stakeholdersManage department expenses, invoices, and payment receipt. Monitor monthly Operating Statements to ascertain that Marketing and Special Events income and expenses are accurately documented within budget. Manage communication with onsite venues, merchants, and partners.Interface with clients regarding contract fulfillment and insurance requirements ensuring compliance.Lead weekly Logistics Meetings.Direct and oversee all record keeping, photos, and reporting. Ensure events maintain quality presentation standards, adhere to safety guidelines, and meet the expectations of the Center. Oversee the development and implementation of strategic marketing, advertising, PR initiatives and forecast planning both internally and with third party consultants. Manages outside advertising agency, public relations team, media placement agency and other outside vendors effectively, insuring quality and cost efficiencyNegotiate sponsorships and partnership arrangementsDevelop and implement branding strategy and tactical planning for assigned property.Create, direct, monitor media plan. Direct media buying agency and implementation of plan.Plan and execute online marketing programs.Monitor on-site signage to ensure execution at the highest level (barricade graphics, marketing signage, common area merchant signage).
