A successful Shareholder Relations Associate will be responsible for investor shareholder service, asset retention, strengthening the CIM brand, and investor shareholder satisfaction as part of a client service team. The position will be a first contact point for CIM investors shareholders and advisors and will work with the Shareholder Relations team, Sales and other Departments on investor shareholder issues.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with shareholders and advisors mainly through service interactions
  • Support the Operations and Relationship Management teams in their daily operations
  • Consult with operations, internal and external sales, and executive team on shareholder issues
  • Handle all in‐bound shareholder and advisor service phone traffic
  • Perform out‐bound calls to resolve operational issues, preventative measures, red flags and client follow‐up
  • Support the sales structure and delivery of products for all customers to ensure world class customer service
  • Propose new ideas to senior management to enhance relationship with the investor or fulfill shareholder and advisor short- and long‐term expectations
  • Identify areas of opportunity to enhance shareholder and advisor experience
  • Develop the shareholder and advisor service strategy to support the growth of the business
  • Perform a variety of tasks; a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected

  • REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience within a service or client support role
  • Strong analytical, organizational and time management skills
  • High energy, self-motivated and confident
  • Solid understanding of the REIT industry, transfer agents, brokerage account types and practices as well as a solid securities brokerage background
  • Experience working with high‐end service
  • Customer service driven with impeccable communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects, prioritize, be detail‐oriented and meet deadlines
