The ideal candidate should have relevant in-house experience at a real estate private equity firm, real estate consultancy or private placement group, and be keen to take on an integral role in an entrepreneurial environment. The major responsibilities of the Partner Relations Manager will be focused on supporting fundraising activities and business development internationally, specifically as it relates to real estate equity funds and co-investments.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Responsible for articulating CIM's investment strategy, platforms, competitive advantages, performance, and for explaining in detail CIM's various investments to both existing and potential investors and other stakeholdersFunction as real estate equity specialist for the GPG team, and effectively work or partner with other PRMs where needed to provide support in knowledge gap and to respond to any investors inquiries related to CIM’s related products. Promoting CIM's organization (brand awareness and recognition)Be a primary point of contact for CIM's existing investors to provide and maintain regular communication and client service through in-person meetings and/or callsDevelop and maintain relationships with new potential investors and responding to their requests and concernsResearch and analyze potential investors, competitors and other market dynamicsHelp to generate and source new investmentsWork closely with the Business Development Group to create and structure new productsRepresent CIM at various trade organizations, conferences, panels, and the likeWork closely with the Portfolio Oversight Group to generate due diligence and other offering materials such as PPM, Flipbook, and DDQ'sParticipate in preparing responses to investor requestsAccompany existing and new investors on property tours as needed
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or related field required, MBA preferredBetween 5 and 15 years’ experience in private equity institutional fundsDirect experience in Investments or Client Service / Investor Relations with an established network of institutional contactsDemonstrated competence with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and WordExperience with Sales Force or similar software a plusSeries 7 & 63 Licenses requiredCompetent with software products, including Microsoft Offices, Salesforce, and Concur Strong knowledge of the Institutional industry & investment processOperate standard office equipment.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
