CIM Women's Alliance

Advancing Women at CIM

CIM Women’s Alliance originated when a small group of female employees expressed a desire to develop a community for women at CIM. They envisioned a safe space where women and allies could come together to focus on personal and professional development.

Since launching in late 2022 as CIM’s first employee resource group (“ERG”), CIM Women’s Alliance has become an important internal network offering education, mentorship and networking opportunities. The ERG hosts ongoing programming, events and initiatives aimed at enriching its members, retaining female professionals and illuminating paths for ongoing development.

CIM Women’s Alliance is now more than 250 members strong with seven regional chapters.1 The group provides support to its members across the organization through consistent programming including educational webinars, a member-led book club, in-person networking events, volunteer opportunities and more.

In 2024, the group launched a Coaching Circles mentorship program to provide members with additional opportunities for personalized support.

CIM Women's Alliance

Member Committees

CIM Women's Alliance operates three committees that support its mission and initiatives. Committee participation offers yet another avenue for members to network with others, develop leadership skills, and use their knowledge to help facilitate positive change.

• Chapter Events Committee: Plans and organizes educational and networking opportunities for members within local markets

• Marketing & Communications Committee: Creates awareness about Women's Alliance and promotes events and programs internally

• Global Programs Committee: Curates personal and professional development webinars and other programming and available to members firm-wide

True to the vision of its founders, CIM Women’s Alliance has become an empowering community and a valuable resource for CIM women and allies. The group expects to continue its growth trajectory and provide even more value to members in the months and years to come.
