Emmy Award-Winning Journalist Jemele Hill Signs Lease with CIM Group for Office Space and Podcast Studio in LA’s West Adams Neighborhood

6/28/2021

LOS ANGELES--CIM Group announced today that it has signed a lease with Emmy Award-winning journalist and media personality Jemele Hill and Hill’s long-time representative and veteran television agent Evan Dick (Exit 39) for a dedicated podcast studio and creative office in Los Angeles’ West Adams neighborhood.

The entire two-story building at 5563 W. Adams Blvd. will serve as headquarters for Hill’s newly announced “Unbothered Network” in partnership with Spotify, including the flagship critically acclaimed and award-winning podcast “Jemele Hill is Unbothered” and other business ventures.

The new 3,679-square-foot development, located between South Marvin and Carmona Avenues, brings contemporary office space to one of Los Angeles’ most sought after neighborhoods, one that has become a burgeoning district for eclectic dining and entertainment and an appealing option for media and entertainment companies such as Unbothered.

“My team and I were very intentional in choosing the West Adams area to make our creative home. This is where the black enclave Sugar Hill once thrived, and we hope that we can continue the tradition started by those black creatives whose sweat equity is still embedded into the DNA of this community. I’m thankful to CIM Group for making this a seamless process and for being fully supportive of our vision,” said Jemele Hill.

5563 W. Adams Blvd. features modern steel and concrete framing, 28’ high floor-to-ceiling glass, an open layout, an outdoor patio space, and on-site parking. The property is in the center of a walkable neighborhood with a vibrant collection of street retail and restaurant spaces, home to new LA chef-driven culinary experiences, local retail concepts, and cultural attractions, with close proximity to major business, media, and entertainment centers such as West LA, Culver City, Beverly Hills, Hollywood, and Downtown LA.

For more than 25 years, CIM Group has utilized its broad expertise to own, develop, reposition, and operate real estate assets, transforming communities and creating dynamic environments throughout the Americas.

Jemele Hill and Evan Dick were represented by Alexandria Yates of Greenway Commercial Holdings, Inc.
