The VP of Accounting Analytics will be responsible for creating and maintaining databases used in the corporate allocations and for billings to properties, funds, and affiliates.  In managing the current allocations team, this position will also manage multiple systems for the accuracy and allocation of costs.  The systems are customized to CIM Group with a high degree of complexity.  In addition, the position will be responsible for process improvement and documentation.  
  • Manage the corporate allocation process for CIM Group from task tracking of all individual employees through billing
  • Accurately manage large amounts of raw data and summarize/compile data based on multiple factors
  • Provide timely reporting to department and division heads for compliance with allocation and billing rules
  • Work with legal and compliance regarding any new tasks or changes to billing rules to maintain compliance with operative documents
  • Work with department and division heads to ensure timely completion of monthly/quarterly task tracking submission
  • Review methodology for allocations and provide feedback for additional streamlining of current processes
  • Manage the vendor maintenance system
  • Manage a growing team of professionals in allocations, billing, and vendor maintenance
  • Handle a variety of special ad hoc projects as needed 
  • Bachelors’ degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
  • MBA/CPA certification preferred
  • 10+ years overall experience; experience in private equity/real estate preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (INDEX/MATCH, VLOOKUPs, SUMIFs, pivot tables, nested formulas).
  • Working knowledge of VBA or SQL highly preferred.
  • Experience with time/cost allocation software preferred.
  • Familiarity with general ledger and accounts payable software preferred.
