The incumbent will support the Human Resources team performing two core functions: (1) Assist with development and maintenance of CIM’s compensation plans and (2) Support compensation administrative within various HR Technology (e.g., Human Resource Information System (HRIS), UKG Pro, and the Firms compensation platform, PayFactors) ensuring data integrity.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Support the Firm in all areas of compensation including, but not limited to market data, job leveling, compensation system administration, compensation cycle process, bonus and commission payments, reporting and reconciliation, etc.Provide guidance and support on compensation-related decisions including new or changing roles, merit increases, promotions, bonuses, commissions, specific organizational initiatives, and annual compensation programs, relying on survey and market data, ad hoc benchmarking to ensure compensation is aligned with market and internal equity. Assist with the compensation cycle by performing activities such as calendar and payroll coordination, reporting and reconciliation, auditing of recommendations, assisting HR partners and managers etc.Participate in and complete compensation market surveys to ensure market competitiveness and determine market trends.Analyze market data and provide comprehensive internal and external equity analysis as needed.Ensure data integrity of all compensation related data entered into UKG Pro; participate in process improvement initiatives to streamline work and improve customer service.Assist with data updates, exports, imports, clean-ups, research and report on any data discrepancies.Support ad hoc data and analysis requests related to compensation in support of other functions and members of HR team.Stay abreast of market trends, changing legislation, tools, and resources, ensuring compliance on compensation related matters
NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Acts as resource for teaching others how to use various systems effectivelyAssist HR team with on-going projects, project timelines, presentations, communication materials, policies, etc.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field is required2 - 4 years’ experience in a hands-on compensation capacity (demonstrated understanding of FLSA and state/local regulations as it relates to compensation practices.)CCP or CPP certification preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:Excellent business analysis skills: timeline planning, requirements definition and documentation, test planning, deployment approaches; exceptional written and verbal communication skills.Thrive on simultaneously managing multiple responsibilities with superior detail orientation, organization, and analytical skills.Able to maintain high level of discretion with ability to handle confidential and proprietary information appropriately.Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.Advanced knowledge with Microsoft Office Suite specifically Excel (pivot tables, look-ups, charts/graphs, formulas and functions) and Word. Experience partnering and working directly with senior leaders.Knowledge of UKG Pro HCM, Cognos Business Intelligence reporting and PayFactors preferred.
