The Digital Marketing Manager is based in our Phoenix, AZ or Los Angeles, CA office and serves as the primary resource for managing/overseeing day-to-day operations of CIM Group’s multiple digital channels, including designing and developing property level websites utilizing various technology and software, designing and creating email campaigns, managing SEO and SEM campaigns and analytics and reporting. This role is crucial to the success of the organization’s digital strategy and roadmap.

In this role, you will oversee the conceptualization, development, implementation and maintenance of multiple websites all while adhering to the corporate branding standards and guidelines. You will be in communication with marketing professionals from across the country, working to enhance their local digital marketing efforts. You will have the opportunity to meet with these teams to understand their requirements and goals and then translate those requirements and goals into implementable plans. Must have proven experience being able to manage a project from concept to implementation with a strong emphasis on web design and development.

Additional secondary responsibilities of this role include creating and managing email campaigns, SEO/SEM experience and ongoing reporting/analytics.

Skills crucial to success in this role:
  • Intermediate to advanced web design and development experience a must have
  • Strong technical knowledge of HTML and CSS
  • Experience with tools such as theme builders like by Divi, Elementor, WebFlow or equivalent
  • Web Content Management Systems experience – Acquia/Drupal and WordPress preferred
  • Strong design skills with an understanding of UX centered approach to web and email design
  • Expertise with creative suite of tools including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Dreamweaver
  • Experience with email marketing automation such as HubSpot, Marketing Cloud, Pardot or Marketo
  • Email campaign coordination and management including template creation
  • Experience creating Google Ads for SEM, including experience with SEM Rush, SpyFu or equivalent
  • Process, workflow, review and approval creation with project management experience
  • Proven ability to work with various internal groups and stakeholders for content sourcing, reviews, approvals and technology solutions
  • Ongoing digital content management and presentation practices to ensure visibility, accuracy and freshness
  • Ongoing monitoring and reporting on vendor uptime and website health
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM
  • Experience with Google Analytics and Google Data Studio
  • Experience with Google My Business and Google Knowledge Graphs a plus
  • Creative thinker and problem solver
  • Able to manage multiple priorities at the same time
  • Confident in ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of accuracy
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Necessary education and experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum of three years of experience in digital marketing [Experience will vary based on final determination of title]
