Yardi business systems analyst is responsible for identifying business application requirements, evaluating solutions, and using project-management methodologies to design, implement, document, test, and support the application systems. This analyst needs to have experience supporting European implementations, Investment Accounting (IM), and residential modules. To succeed in this role, you must be highly motivated and customer service-oriented. You should have a technical and analytical background and way of thinking while also being able to explain difficult concepts to non-technical users.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Analyze, define and document requirements and recommend solutions for Yardi applications to the stakeholders based on input from the users.
  • Manage internal Yardi Administrative improvement projects, develop project plans, oversee testing and monitor performance.
  • Work alongside the application support team to triage, route and follow through to completion, escalated service tickets for Yardi and other financial systems interfaces and platforms.
  • Work closely with the business leads to document and deliver technical updates and enhancements within the Yardi platform.
  • Document configurations and customizations and participate in maintaining a library of Yardi implementation and configuration standards.
  • Participate in weekly Change Advisory Board representing updates and changes to the Yardi platforms.
  • Coordinate with developers to implement a solution and/or produce custom reports for end-users. This includes, but is not limited to, design, testing, implementation, documentation, user training/support and maintenance of new and existing applications.
  • Stay up to date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems.
  • Effectively communicate your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
  • Gather critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and produce useful reports.
  • Monitor deliverables and ensure timely completion of projects.
  • EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: (including certification, licenses, etc.)
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Three years of experience as a Yardi Systems Analyst is required
  • Five or more years experience in business analysis or project management, preferably in a large real estate, investment, or other regulated environments
  • Good understanding of general accounting principles
  • Experience with Yardi European and/or IM implementations
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Yardi modules
  • Able to comprehend complex issues and provide suggestions for problem-solving. 
  • Self-directed, able to prioritize, set, and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with Yardi eLearning, MRI, RealPage, Nexus, AVID, SharePoint, VTS and is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server or similar enterprise databases and ability to query enterprise databases using SQL
