Essential FunctionsPlacing outbound calls to build and maintain schedule for assigned external wholesaler(s) Meet minimum standards for outbound calling and appointment setting on a daily and weekly basis Build and maintain the territory calendar, rotation, and segmenting of advisors Follow up on all appointment requests, seminars, inbound inquiries, and conference leads Work with external and internal sales team to coordinate all regional marketing, including daily phone contact regarding various aspects of: Outbound business development / prospecting calls to reps in the Region, including cold calling Hot Lists, known Top Producers, and OSJs: Scheduling client seminars for producers Scheduling, rep and client conference calls
Education/Experience RequirementsBachelor's degree preferred1+ years prior experience with business developmentExperience with Salesforce or similar software preferred
Reasoning Skill RequirementsHighly analytical and detail oriented.Deadline driven and ability to manage multiple tasks.Ability to work independently and to proactively evaluate and address work opportunities within the area of responsibilityAbility to apply common-sense understanding to carry out instructions.Ability to solve practical problems.
Technical Skill RequirementsProficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.Operate standard office equipment.
