Oversee and lead CIM’s Net Lease strategy and underlying portfolios, which represents over $6 billion in assets across over 1,500 properties. CIM’s Portfolio Oversight function leads coordinated efforts among internal teams to enhance portfolio performance, monitor underlying asset business plans, guide internal and external communications and serve as the main point of contact for strategy-specific fundraising initiatives.
Essential Functions:The candidate will be tasked with a workload which includes individual responsibilities, managing an existing team of two individuals and collaborative assignments focused on the following areas:
» Portfolio Oversight – Act as subject matter expert on CIM’s Net Lease strategy and underlying portfolios to ensure decisions regarding individual assets are made with an eye towards the impact on the portfolio as a whole Strategic Planning – oversee the Net Lease strategy with a focus on current state and future direction to ensure adherence to the expectations set with investors Acquisition and disposition analysis – work with Investments team for buy/sell/hold recommendations on assets; participate on Net Lease Investment Committee Asset Management – actively manage portfolios and drive business plans (including budget vs. actuals analysis, valuation processes, etc.) working across all other CIM departments (e.g., leasing, property management, development, accounting, legal, etc.); report to Asset Management Committee on a quarterly basis Portfolio and asset-level leverage analysis – Analysis and support for decisions relating to leverage & lending within assigned Performance monitoring – Oversee and monitor the overall performance of all assets in the portfolio and provide updates to investors, internal stakeholders
» Fundraising / Communication – Meet the needs of existing and prospective investors, financial advisors, due diligence officers and governance bodies, acting as subject matter expert on our Net Lease strategy and all current & future offerings Investor, advisor, due diligence officer meetings / calls Industry conferences Board of Directors meetings
» Product Development / Market Research – Assist with new product creation and continuous understanding of the competitive landscape for existing portfolios
Education/Experience Requirements: 10-15+ Years’ prior net lease portfolio management experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Demonstrated competence with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word Demonstrated experience with financial modeling Must be willing to travel up to 25% of the time, both domestically and internationally
