Curating a World-Class Destination at Miami Worldcenter

CIM is a partner in Miami Worldcenter Associates, which serves as the master developer for Miami Worldcenter, a new $6 billion mixed-use destination in the heart of downtown Miami. One of the largest private urban real estate developments underway in the United States, the project spans ten city blocks and is transforming Miami’s urban core with retail, hospitality, commercial and residential uses. Our Development team has created a distinctively local environment that celebrates Miami’s flourishing art scene with multiple public art installations.

Miami Worldcenter

Our in-house Retail Leasing team approached the project with a vision to curate a best-in-class urban retail destination that would align with Miami’s narrative of progress and sophistication. Because Miami Worldcenter is situated between the new Brightline Miami train station and the Kaseya Center – home of the Miami Heat – our team envisioned a tenant mix incorporating dynamic destinations that would appeal to commuters and visitors as well as area residents.

Among the tenants they identified were Lucky Strike and Museum of Ice Cream, which focus on creating memorable moments that generate a buzz and keep visitors coming back.

Lucky Strike

Lucky Strike Miami is a 30,000-square-foot entertainment destination featuring 28 bowling lanes and a contemporary, upscale aesthetic.

Beyond bowling, Lucky Strike boasts an expansive arcade, a craft cocktail bar, and an intimate VIP room with six private bowling lanes. Lucky Strike Miami’s menu comprises dishes that feature quality ingredients while elevating traditional classics. The tenant opened in March 2024.

Museum of Ice Cream

Museum of Ice Cream has welcomed millions of visitors to its fully immersive, interactive spaces around the country that center on an ice cream theme.

The tenant first appeared in Miami in 2017 as a very successful six-month pop-up experience on Miami Beach. After hosting a second pop-up in 2022, Museum of Ice Cream was on the lookout for a permanent home and found it in Miami Worldcenter. The 14,000-square-foot multi-platform, two-floor destination began welcoming visitors September 2024.

As of December 2024, Miami Worldcenter is 97% leased. Museum of Ice Cream and Lucky Strike are representative of the standout roster of tenants currently open or coming soon to the center, including Lucid Motors, Ray-Ban, Club Studio, The Container Store, Sephora, Lululemon and many others.

The leasing successes at Miami Worldcenter illustrates how our team’s relationships with national tenants and ability to curate a vibrant tenant lineup can create positive experiences for residents and visitors alike.
